Main purpose of the job:
You will be responsible for picking customer orders; stacking and wrapping these orders to enable them to be loaded and delivered in a safe manner. You will take the lead on ensuring the depot is clean and tidy ready for the morning shift. Hours of work are Sunday to Thursday 16.00pm to 12.00am.
Main duties:
· Picking customer orders
· Reporting any damages
· Wrapping orders using either the wrapping machine or hand wrap
· Cleaning and maintenance of the depot (including yard)
· Stock rotation when picking
· Assisting in regular stock takes
· Adhering to Health and Safety requirements
· Waste management
· Any other tasks considered essential by Management.
Skills and experience required:
No formal qualification is required for this role as on the job training will be provided. However, the following skills and experience would be beneficial:
· Product knowledge (desirable)
· Forklift truck experience (desirable)
· Manual handling experience (desirable)
· Awareness of stock control processes (desirable)
Responsible for:
· Adhering to Health and Safety requirements
· Ensuring cleanliness of the depot
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
