We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our clients team based at their site in Nuneaton on a Permanent Basis!

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to become a vital member of our clients team and oversee an experienced warehouse team for all operations and activities over multiple warehouse sites. This will be a 'hands on' role and will also include ownership of one warehouse with responsibilities including off-loading container deliveries, storing materials, picking, packing and loading vans, on top of the team leadership duties.
This is a very physically demanding job that does require individual lifts of 35kg 'big & bulky' items as well as assisted lifts of 120kg.
What you'll be doing:
- Oversee and plan activities of multiple warehouses
- Management and coordination of warehouse team
- Staff management and attendance/performance reporting
- Working with the wider team on continuous space planning and management
- Ownership of all quality checks for outgoing goods
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance in warehouses
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Enforce a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
- Report any discrepancies
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Experience:
- Proven working experience as a warehouse supervisor
- Experienced people manager
- Adaptable to changing priority workloads
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Current forklift licence
- Current driving licence
- Any general tradesman & DIY skills preferred
Hours:
Monday to Friday 09:00 till 17:00 - Additional hours might be required.
Pay:
£25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
