Job description

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join our client team based at their site in Chessington!

Must come from a Technical Background and have Knowledge of AV (Audio Visual) Equipment used in live events.

What you'll be doing:

  • You assist in the recruitment and onboarding of warehouse staff
  • You will proactively manage the warehouse space and storage
  • You will play a pivotal role in managing staff training and personal development of the warehouse team.
  • You will be responsible for the planning, supervising, motivating and directing of human resource to meet the daily workload and thus maintain the high standards that are expected.
  • You will liaise closely with our Head of Procurement regarding all aspects of stock management.
  • You will police warehouse policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all procedures and ISO requirements, including waste management
  • You will ensure all equipment is properly maintained, serviced and PAT tested, as well as making sure that any faulty/damaged equipment is identified, investigated and sent for repair as quickly as possible.

You Must have:

  • A technical background and a good understanding of how AV equipment works and is used in live events.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management roles, ideally working within a similar industry.
  • Naturally pro-active instincts, with a hunger for inspiring change and operational improvement.
  • Excellent all-round end-user IT skills.

Hours + Holidays:

39.5 Hours over 7 days.

23 days Holiday + Bank Holidays
