WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
You will bring with you at least five years of experience in Logistics, with previous experience leading teams within a Warehouse / Logistics environment.
You will be leading a team of up to 42 co-workers, so you have demonstrable leadership experience, and a passion for coaching and supporting your team.
As a confident communicator, you have experience in managing the people process side of a leadership role, ensuring responsibilities are delegated and open and honest feedback is provided to support your team. You are able to set expectations for others and provide clear direction when setting and implementing action plans and following up on goals.
Whilst this is a warehouse-based role, you will have experience leading in a changing environment with a commercial focus, balancing efficiency, inspiration and profitability.

WHAT WE OFFER
- Starting salary from £34'200 per annum.
- Ordinary shift times will be from 06:00am until 14:30pm, but flexibility is required to meet business needs outside of these times.
- 39-hour contract working 5 days over 7, which includes one in two weekends.
- Flexibility on availability to be discussed during interviews.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Lead the warehouse goods flow team and work with the wider Logistics and Store Commercial Team to secure the highest goods availability for customers at all times.
- Ensure that your team works in compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety and security and the environment.
- Responsible for ensuring all customer online orders are fulfilled by your team in line with agreed department key performance indicators.
- Live the IKEA values and nurture a strong and thriving IKEA culture that inspires colleagues to reach extraordinary achievements in the store and especially in the goods flow team.
- You will work at a strategic and operational level within our warehouse to ensure we have the right products at the right time for our many customers.
