Warehouse Supervisor
Garden Trends is a multi-channel retailer in the garden and leisure industry, selling barbecues, garden furniture, and seasonal products. Our business is generated through our retail showrooms and online sales using many suppliers with a large product range.
We're looking for an experienced warehouse supervisor who wants to learn and develop operations skills. Working with our general manager on daily basics. You will be based at our Head Office in Watlington, North of Henley, Oxfordshire
You'll be working in safe, but busy fast paced warehouse environment, working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. We are proud of our reputation and you will be responsible for ensuring that our standards and values are maintained.
Duties include:
Managing a small team of people to ensure the teams daily tasks are meet.
Assisting with the daily picking of customer orders and processing
Ensuring all goods are picked for dispatch according to the picking procedure
Wrapping pallets of goods ready for despatch
Ensure correct labelling of all orders for despatch
Loading and unloading containers of products
To help replenish the Warehouse as and when required, ensuring stock is always available for picking
Ensure all despatch vehicles are loaded correctly and on time

The individual:
Proven experience in warehouse or a fast pasted pick and pack online type business
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Ability to move large bulky boxes in a safe manner
Highly organised
Self-motivated with a 'can do’ attitude
Hardworking and able to work to set deadlines
Professional, positive, organised and enthusiastic approach
Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
