Dictionary Analysts play a vital role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of CGA services by ensuring that harmonisation (matching) of data and classification of dictionaries is completed in line with CGA’s world class standards. Each analyst is assigned to a specific CGA territory and practice area, but works collaboratively within the Data Preparation team to make sure dictionaries are maintained accurately, data integrity is sustained at a high standard and delivery deadlines are consistently achieved.

- Understands and applies basic personal security practice
- Is aware of how work completed relates to agreed service standards and uses available tools and reporting to ensure work is completed to schedule
- Is aware of all quality standards & processes relevant to their job and completes work to agreed standards
- Proactively identifies issues and/or inconsistencies and escalates to senior members of staff for resolution.
- In addition to generic business skills, key specialisms that define the Data Prep department include on premise domain knowledge as relates to specialism, and expertise in service level management, the latter defined as agreeing targets for service levels and assessing, monitoring, and managing the delivery of services against targets.
