Harrison Spinks Events is a unique and diverse event business based in North Yorkshire, with its own charming venues including Hornington Manor, Carlton Manor and The Motorist.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales & Marketing Manager to join the Harrison Spinks events team.
Reporting into the Managing Director - The successful candidate will devise and implement a sales marketing strategy to achieve the required top line sales and the associated growth year on year across all event venues.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours. Occasional weekend working

Key Duties include:
- To devise and implement segmental sales and marketing action plans for individual leisure, corporate events, weddings, and motorist activities
- Communicate the strategy and action plans across the Board, Executive Committee, Heads of Departments via newsletter, briefings, and formal meetings and presentations
- Ownership of the communication strategy
- Set the annual budget and targets alongside the Managing Director.
- To lead, motivate and develop the Events marketing and sales teams
- Design and facilitate the design of all marketing material such as the website, brochures, advert, and other marketing collateral.
- To assist in the preparation of the annual Business Plan, objectives and budgets.
- To generate ideas for packages and promotions across all segments.
- To implement an effective communication strategy involving third parties’ websites, SEO and PPC, e-shots and mail shots, digital and print advertising.
Key Skills & Experience:
As an experienced and passionate Senior Sales & Marketing Manager, you will possess excellent understanding of the hospitality and events industry and be able to demonstrate examples of business won from research to conversion.
You will be a personable & exceptional communicator, who is confident to deliver and communicate sales and marketing strategies, whilst having a confident approach in the venues you are promoting.
As a self-motivated individual, you will be comfortable working individually and part of a wider team who is driven to achieve KPI’s and targets, whilst demonstrating resilience and a passion for sales.
As a supportive leader, you will motivate and inspire your team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of team members, and supports with development and training.
