WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR (m/f/d)
Location: Parham, Suffolk
You will be responsible for managing and report on all stock movement in and out of the warehouse and factory and ensuring that the inventory reporting is always accurate.
You will make an impact in the following way:
- Supervise and motivate a team of Warehouse staff, ensuring targets are met or surpassed
- Maintain stock accuracy, carrying out regular cycle counts and determine root cause and resolve any stock inaccuracy
- Manage processes and procedures for stock transfers and production line material replenishment
- Identify potential efficiency improvements throughout the planning/shipping stock to external storage
- Ensure data entry in the ERP system is prompt and accurate
- Organise maintenance of equipment and machinery within the warehouse.
- Liaise with the Production team to ensure accuracy of material and finished goods transfers to and from Production
What you will bring:
Experience
Previous experience in a Production stock control environment
Skills
Fork lift certificate
Fully proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
A good level of Maths and English
SAP Knowledge is desirable
Knowledge of the Wire and Cable and signal industry is desirable
