About The Role
As a Warehouse Team Leader you will manage and lead a team of people to achieve laid down objectives for a specific area(s) of the NDC which leads to overall achievement of the warehouse function and continuous improvement
- Taking responsibility for the output of a specific team
- Taking responsibility for the quality of the work produced
- All Health & Safety matters in their area of work
- Staff management, performance management / absence management / recruitment / retention / discipline / Team Briefing
- Resource planning and utilisation including budgetary planning and control
- Providing excellent customer service levels (internal / external customers)
- Training and staff development
- Providing cover and cooperation with all other departments / sectors of NDC
- A starting salary of circa £27,000 plus up to 10% annual bonus
- 32 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, plus the option to purchase up to 5 more days

- Working knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures
- A proven track record of staff management
- Good written and verbal English skills
- Good numerical skills
- Manual handling experience
Experience of working to deadlines and a high level of attention to detail - Basic IT Skills
- An understanding of Health & Safety within the warehouse
