Position: Warehouse First Line Manager
Location: Scunthorpe
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time), 40 hours per week
Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm rotating

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Support the team to follow Safety Standards and to help reduce or eliminate health and safety related risks
- Track team and individual performance
- Managing a team of up to 20 Warehouse Operatives, Coordinators and Equipment Controllers
- Report security risks
- Track KPI results as established on the respective KPI Tree and raise issues, challenges and opportunities to Second Line Leadership during the Critical Analysis Meeting, based on the Performance Scorecard results
- Prepare performance information (productivity, variance, dispersion, direct and indirect hours and resources needs) and participate on leadership performance meetings, discussing shift's needs.
- Engaging and motivating the team

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, ideally in a supervisory or management position
- Proven experience of leading a team, focusing on team engagement and motivation
- Good balance of Results and respect approach
- Coaching and active listening skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent IT skills, using Microsoft Office and Teams
