Desired Skills & Experience:
- Able to provide technical and operational support
- Experience with Illustrator and Photoshop a plus
- Flexible and willing to learn new processes and procedures
- Good listening and critical thinking skills as well as attention to detail
- Must be a team player who can take direction and work well with tight deadlines
- Able to problem solving and adapt to changes
- Good basic knowledge of administrative duties, i.e., billing, filing, organizing filing systems and storage areas for project work and historical records etc.
- Physically demanding job
- Must have a good driving record
Responsibilities:
Production Assistants use a variety of skills and knowledge to provide support to Art
Department work groups. These can include:
- Preparing equipment and props for photoshoots
- Setting up and taking down set for photoshoots
- Driving and hooking-up U-Haul rental trucks, trailers
- Produce artwork/design on a limited basis etc.
- Using multiple data bases to upload and record project works
- Maintaining storage areas and supplies
- Administrative filing of project samples and communication files
- Running company errands etc.
- Other administrative duties

About Us
Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need. After World War II, there existed the widespread need for do-it-yourself moving equipment that would be available on a one-way, nationwide basis.
U-Haul co-founders L.S. "Sam" Shoen and his wife, Anna Mary Carty Shoen, recognized that need and acted upon it. Their visionary approach spread the cost of ownership among many users, facilitating the mobility of the populations of the U.S. and Canada. The covered wagon of the pioneers morphed into orange U-Haul trailers. In the process, an industry was born.
