Job description
To meet the unprecedented demand for Teaching Assistants across the South East Northumberland Area, AK teaching are recruiting Teaching Assistants to start immediately.
AK Teaching can offer rates of pay between £75-85 per day for long term & daily cover, the typical work day runs from 8:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.
What you can expect day to day as a Teaching Assistant with AK Teaching:
- Assist the teacher in creating a supportive and orderly classroom environment.
- With the guidance of the teacher support the learning and development within the classroom.
- Be responsible for the safeguarding and welfare of the children.

What you can expect from AK Teaching:
- A dedicated consultant who will be available 24/7 for coaching and support.
- A variety of school placements; you can pick and choose what you want to accept and decline.
- Direct links to schools within your area.
- Long and short term assignments depending on your own personal needs.
- Ongoing CPD courses throughout the course of the academic year e.g. behaviour management, safeguarding, assessment methods and strategies etc.
- A 'Recommend A Friend Scheme' with the opportunity to earn per referral.
