Vuba is a UK based manufacturer of resin products for Trade and DIY customers, such as resin bound driveways and epoxy art resin. Vuba's award winning and patented products are distributed worldwide from its headquarters in Beverley, East Yorkshire. Vuba has grown from a small business in 2009 to a forecasted revenue of £17 million in 2023.
As part of our continued growth we are now expanding into the South West of the UK opening our new Distribution Centre in Bridgwater, Somerset in May 2023.
We are recruiting for 2 x Warehouse / Distribution Operatives to be based at our new distribution centre at The Showground Business Park in Bridgwater. The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday on day shift with occasional overtime as necessary.
Warehouse / Distribution Operative
As part of the distribution team, you will perform various tasks surrounding the preparation of palletised customer orders for dispatch, as well as assisting with stock counts and receiving goods into the warehouse.
Occasional trade counter operation will require attendance and ability interact with customers / contractors on a face to face basis and to utilise card payment machines for relevant transactions.
This is a fast paced and varied role in a forward thinking and rapidly growing business.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current forklift licence, ideally, Reach and Counterbalance
- Previous experience as a dispatch operative or a similar role in a warehouse (preferable)
- Ability to lift and transfer heavy loads manually
- Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear and training will be provided)
- Good interpersonal skills ideally with face to face customer interaction
- Numeracy and literacy skills
- Ideally good PC skills / competency
Work remotely
- No, however, initial training for 2 weeks in Beverley is anticipated.

Salary: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
