Job Description: Class A Contract Driver (1099), OTR, Dry Van About the Company Family owned and operated company with past trucking experience and full scope knowledge of the industry About the Job Team drivers welcomed with dedicated lanes Job Summary Contract Driver (1099, Solo) Dry Van OTR $1,200 - $1,800 gross total weekly average pay 2,400 - 3,500 average miles per week 100% no touch freight Home Time 10 - 14 expected days out (stay out longer if you want to) Get 3 days of home time for every 14 days worked Home at least 2 weekends per month Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations. Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area. Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure. Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports. Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations. Job Requirements: Hiring Requirements At least 25 years old Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer or (K) Intrastate Only 2 years Tractor Trailer experience in the last 5 years Experience must be with a 53 ft trailer minimum Must be eligible to work in the US Must have basic English proficiency Must have a valid DOT medical card
