CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, are recruiting a Graduate Project Manager to join the team located in Manchester.

Purpose Of the Job

The Graduate Programme is aimed at providing University leavers the next steppingstone in their career development, gaining knowledge and additional qualifications with one of the leading providers.

Our Graduate programme is a two-year programme which offers candidates the opportunity to operate within the business learning how the business operates with hands on project delivery experience. The programme is supported by a classroom-based Level 4 Associate Project Management and Prince 2 qualification (subject to qualifications already held)


Key Responsibilities

  • Shadowing a Project Manager and supporting the Principal Contracting business.
  • Carrying out business area rotations supported by Subject Matter Experts learning how QHSE, Finance, Contract Management and Sales all support the Principal Contracting Business.
  • Completing specific project tasks to support as required and under the direction of the Project Manager
  • Carrying our basic scope development and developing tender packs
  • Tendering, estimating and proposal writing
  • Learning the processes and procedures that underpins the foundations of the business
  • Understand the wider CBRE business and how cross selling supports the One CBRE approach adding value to our customers
  • Site management
  • Small works delivery
  • As part of the placement, the Intern will gain commercial experience and fully understand our project service delivery.
  • Be actively involved in team and management meetings
  • Customer relationship management


Accountabilities

  • Accountability to the Head of Projects.
  • Manage and deliver project safely and in line with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Manage and deliver principal projects through whole lifecycle of a project
  • Accountable for day to day management of Projects financial metrics and administration.


Person Specification


Education

  • Degree level qualification (engineering/construction or project management desirable)


Training

  • You must be able to demonstrate a career showing continuous personal
  • development.


Experience

  • Experience in administration or similar projects coordinator role (desirable)
  • Delivery of wider facilities management services (desirable)
  • Experience in finance roles (desirable)
  • Experience in construction or project management (desirable)

Circumstances
