Job description
For this hands-on role, you'll supervise and co-ordinate a team of Selectors so the stock gets on the right lorry to the right store every time.
It means you'll need to be a good motivator and leader, with the ability to get everybody working effectively together. We're investing in brilliant new distribution centres and first-class equipment. So you'll have everything you need to keep things moving efficiently. We do things our own way at Aldi. But whatever we're doing, we must be getting it right. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we're opening new stores at lightning speed. And without the great teams at our warehouses, there'd be no products in those stores.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Previous experience managing front line operations teams with high performance standards.- Experience in a Warehouse or similar live operational environments
- Drive and the ability to lead a team to achieve set goals
- Ability to motivate, develop and engage a team with coaching skills to train and mentor employees
- Ability to prioritise and give clear instructions
- High level of attention to detail
- Proven ability to problem-solve and organise including time management, resource planning
- Comfortable using an array of technologies and applications including MS Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Manhattan WMS & SAP systems preferred but not essential
- Working knowledge of LEAN principles preferred but not essential
This role is a 40 hour contract with varied start times (12pm, 3pm), working 5 out 7 days including weekends.
