Job description
Role
You will be based at the Warehouse and Office space in Croydon. You will be responsible for the day to day warehouse and driving duties involved in the service delivery to our clients.
You will require a full UK driving license with no more than 3 points.
You will be customer facing and as such will need to be polite and professional at all times. Uniform will be provided and must be worn at all times
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of lighting, sound, AV, and staging equipment.
- Prepping equipment for events accurately and to a schedule.
- Scanning in and scanning out of kit.
- Receiving goods in / dispatching good out.
- Welcoming clients to the warehouse to collect their hire.
- Driving in company van dropping off kit to various locations.
- Driving company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
- Using equipment such as a ladder, electronic scissor lifts, computers and general IT equipment.
- Ensuring the security of the warehouse facility at all times.
- Ensure good housekeeping practices are kept at all times.
- Work closely with the sales team to support the sales activity.
- Ensure that the facility reflects our premium brand at all times.
- Keeping kit clean and maintained.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
- Pat testing returned equipment and cables.
Experience: Essential At least one years’ experience in the event lighting/sound industry or other relevant experience, theatre, TV & film, concert lighting etc. Desirable/Previous experience in a similar position with a production company. Experience in driving Luton/long wheel base vans. Skills and Abilities: Essential A good working knowledge of event production, rigging, staging and AV. Basic computer skills. Experience of equipment maintenance including PAT testing. Desirable Experience of working with audio/video/lighting systems.
