Warehouse Assistant for Pet Shop Bradford-on-Avon, England
Job description
DOGHOUSE is a unique concept, we're a grooming salon, pet shop and café in one, designed as a haven for dogs and dog lovers.
As we grow, we are excited to have expanded into manufacturing some of our key product ranges and we now have a wonderful workshop in Bradford-On-Avon that houses a fabulous team of sewers, our online fulfilment and office space.
This role would mainly be working in this space, and will centre on the e-commerce side of the business. We have a thriving website that is growing year on year and we need a steady hand to help us fulfill these orders!
Key responsibilities include:
- Online order fulfillment, this includes the collecting of stock some of which may be based in our Bradford-on-Avon retail store, a 5 minute walk away.
- Stock organisation - this will include regular stocktakes, key stock rotation and shelf management.
- Preparation of product - this involves preparing bagged products to distribute to our retail sites
- Accepting Deliveries - Unpacking, checking the stock received and updating the EPOS to maintain accuracy (this can be hard, physical work).
- Cleanliness - responsible for ensuring the space remains clean, ordered and safe.

We're looking for a part time or full time employee: 5 days per week, Mon-Fri, the successful candidate needs to be able to commit to at least every weekday morning. Finish time can be negotiable and will depend on the workload and job list per week. There will be an opportunity for additional days as and when required.
