Job description
To assist the smooth running of the Warehouse to be reliable, puntual and a competant Warehouse Assistant, to keep the areas clean and tidy and to help others when the need arises.
Right to work documents must be shown at time of interview and DBS will be required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure efficient and sooth running of all completed work to the relevant departments.
- Scanning of return parcels
- To ensure all doors and shutters remain closed when not in use.
- To ensure a range of empty cages, magnums and trays are available at all times (after training is completed).
- Ensure that all pallets are correctly strapped / wrapped when loading or unloading.
- Ensure that goods delivered / collected are in good condition and match delivery / collection notes. Any non-conformants are to be reported to the management.
- To keep all areas clean and tidy within and around company premises.
- To take all due care and attention when operating all equipment in the Warehouse (after training). Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in good working order and any faults are reported to the Warehouse Manager immediately.
- Goods lifts are cleaned daily and Outside building kept clean and tidy
- Follow Company Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety Procedures as well as all other company procedures.
Part Time position - Mon - Fri - Flexible hours
Salary-Minimum wage - £10.42
