Based in our Warehouse in Edmonton, London N9, as Warehouse Assistant your job will be to
- ensure the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse goods
- take delivery of shipments and check correct amount
- allocate products to the correct stock locations and complete relevant paperwork
- pick and pack orders.
whilst ensuring adherence to all health and safety requirements.
You will report to the Warehouse Manager as part of a team of 3 and will be expected to help out with Warehouse related duties as required. As our Warehouse Assistant you must be completely honest and trustworthy.
We need you to have:
- Physical strength, fitness and dexterity and the ability to work at height.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment dealing with high volumes of stock.
- Excellent team-working skills
- Computer literacy, including knowing how to use scanners and relevant software programs, such as warehouse management systems;
- A high degree of accuracy when reading stock numbers for stock allocation and booking in;
- Excellent organisational and accurate record-keeping skills;
- English and Maths to a minimum of GCSE or equivalent.
