Job description
Do you have previous Warehousing and Customer Service skills?
Do you have a Forklift license or an in-house license?
Have you got knowledge or experience in Plumbing?
You’ll be working for George Boyd in Crownpoint Road, Bridgeton, Glasgow. George Boyd is one of more than 30+ exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and is the UK’s specialist distributor of architectural ironmongery and commercial door sets.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (No weekend work)
Basic salary +Bonuses + Pension + Life Assurance + Private Medical + 31 days holiday per year
As a Customer Services Advisor will have one of the most important roles within the branch network.
You will regularly be the first and last point of contact for customers visiting the branch so you play a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience.
To support the team you will;
- Dealing with customers face to face on counter
- Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Maintain stock levels in the yard area, carrying out regular stock counts
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
