Warehouse Assistant Polegate

Avaliable Job Today We are looking for a positive new staff member to join us with helping with warehouse in a permeant position.
We are a small online company operating under the Go Inks brand mainly selling printer consumables (Ink/Toner/3D Filament). We have been operating for over 12 years and take pride in our customer services and quick dispatch with a lot of returning customers.
We require a person to help in our warehouse with main duties being picking and packing of customer orders. You will also need to be able to cover staff holidays as and when agreed before hand. Other tasks can include helping with deliveries, moving stock up & down stairs and around the warehouse and keeping the warehouse clean.
Job tasks include (but not limited to):
- Picking and packing order accurately
- Replenishing stock
- Moving stock around the warehouse (May be up and down stairs)
- Being able to work independently and in a team
- Covering staff holidays as agreed
- Keeping the warehouse clean
- Other task may be required
Generally you will be working with other staff but on occasions when you ae working alone so you will need to have some ability to complete your tasks by yourself and be self motivated. You would be responsible for keeping your work area tidy as well as other communal areas as required. Reading of English is important as you will need to read picking lists for order dispatch. Training will be provided.
Hours are 9amd to 3pm, Monday to Thursdays. We are closed bank holidays.
Potential candidates must be able to travel independently to our site in Polegate (Chaucer business park). There is free parking available at site.
