Job description
We are looking for an Warehouse and Stores Operative to join our dedicated Stores Team. Applicants should be enthusiastic, motivated and keen to learn new skills. They should be willing to undertake mechanical aids and Fork Lift Truck training if not already trained
MAIN DUTIES
To take delivery of goods delivered to stores, with the use of forklifts where required.
Ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner checking for quantity and damages.
Book goods into stock using computer system.
Putting materials away in stores after deliveries.
Picking of parts kits to issue to projects.
Assisting with stock checks as required.
Book excess stocks returned from projects back into stock.
Assisting with the packing and despatch of spares orders as required.
Assisting with the packing of machine orders as required.
Keeping Stores clean and tidy.
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious person who is wanting to learn new skills. You should have IT skills and the ability to work as part of a team and also on your own initiative.
Forklift Truck certification preferable.
This is a permanent position, subject to a 3-month trial period.
Hours = 39 hours per week.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
