Could this be you? Portman are looking for a bright, innovative, and compassionate receptionist to join their friendly team of staff who are dedicated to providing excellent patient-centred care.
We work closely as a multidisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes for each individual and their families, many of whom are elderly.
Portman Ward is a general medical ward based at Musgrove Park Hospital.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our ward administration team. The purpose of the role is:
- To provide a friendly, effective reception, advice and information service to patients, colleagues and visitors to the ward.
- Support and assist the nursing staff and contribute to the care environment.
- To maintain electronic patient records, including the use of MAXIMS and EPRO and ward shared drive.
- To support the organization in achieving excellence in everything that we do by embedding and promoting the Trust values of working together, listening and leading towards providing outstanding care.
- Intregra ordering and receipting of goods training provided.

- To provide welcoming and professional reception cover with patience and efficiency in a range of situations involving patients and relatives including where the patient or relative may be distressed.
