The Role
Principal Tasks & Activities
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and other monthly finance and reporting tasks
- Administration of the online expense and credit card system (Concur)
- Process monthly expense claims to reporting deadlines and provide training and documentation to users
- Control the weekly client account spreadsheet
- Input data and reconcile balance of funds in total and by client weekly
- Validate payments due to funds collected for HMRC, pensions AOE Agencies and service fees
- Identify differences and investigate discrepancies
- Sales invoicing across all business areas to necessary timescales
- Contribute to the improvement of systems and processes
- Provide support to the senior Finance team and other stakeholders
Experience Required
- Minimum of two years’ work experience within a relevant environment
- Experience of working with computerised financial systems
- Working to deadlines
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Business Central
- Knowledge of Concur
- Payroll experience
Skills & Competencies
- Excel skills to intermediate level such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Ability to manage own workload, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Numerate and data analysis driven
- Ability to understand and interpret information from a variety of sources
Desirable:
- Ability to write Macros or VBA
Qualifications & Training
- Accountancy qualified, including AAT, or working towards
- A level or equivalent
