Area Manager required for West Yorkshire • 37.5 hours per week • Fuel Allowance or company vehicle for the right candidate • Enrolment onto the workplace pension scheme (NEST) • Ability to earn commission and an annual performance related bonus • Laptop and smart phone • The opportunity to be part of a long established (75+ years) yet young and dynamic team This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, and highly motivated people manager to join a medium sized West Yorkshire based commercial cleaning company. Specific commercial cleaning or Soft FM experience is preferred but not essential so long as you have a hunger for a challenge. Working closely with the office-based team, as Senior Area Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of contract and one-off cleaning services throughout the region. You will be required to draft risk assessments and schedules of cleaning and to liaise with clients of all sizes to ensure the smooth commencement and ongoing delivery of commercial cleaning services. You will be responsible for conducting regular quality assurance audits, meeting with clients and swiftly implementing required action points. As a commercial cleaning Senior Area Manager, you will be responsible for interviewing, recruiting, training and managing our ever-evolving team of field-based commercial cleaning operatives. Ideally you will be familiar with basic HR processes and have the ability to initiate and see through to completion performance management, disciplinary and redundancy processes. Specific training will be provided for the right person. You must have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills that you will use to build rapport with customers and operatives alike. As a commercial cleaning Senior Area Manager, you will be required to work 40 hours per week but will be required to vary your start and finish times as the situation dictates. You will be responsible for managing your own diary. You must be capable of thinking commercially to efficiently manage your time and diary.
