Job Description
Working within a small Digital Colleague Experience team, the role will see you work broadly across the Workday modules ideally advanced certified within Workday Core HCM, Recruiting and ideally with some experience in other Workday modules with an excellent understanding of security to ensure wider team skills and knowledge. You’ll be given opportunity and should be willing to learn new modules and enhance your knowledge further and continually develop your understanding and expertise across the platform and any connected/integrated people technologies.
By partnering with People team colleagues, project teams and business stakeholders, you’ll seek to understand business requirements, translate them into solutions, agree and implement functionality to meet objectives using agile methodology where appropriate and working collaboratively across the team. There will be a focus on getting the best features and automation from the Recruiting module to enhance our candidate, recruiter and hiring manager experience working closely with SME’s in this area.
Some of the areas you’ll add value include:
Analysis, design, configuration, testing and support.
Partnering with IT and other HR centres of excellence to ensure best practices are being followed and maintained appropriately.
Recommending Business Process improvements through more effective use of applications.
Partner with internal stakeholders to help drive adoption and maximize the value of Workday.
Actively researching new enhancements and releases in Workday and supporting the Workday bi-annual release management.
Assisting in the administration of Workday ensuring data accuracy and completion of processes, including but not limited to mass updates, EIB’s, maintenance of structured data, and configuration maintenance.
Manage tickets raised via Workday Help as Tier 2 support to ensure solutions proposed and improvements implemented.
Create and maintain system documentation / develop help tools, document configurations, assist in end-user training and adoption when required.
Regularly review Workday Community and engage in relevant user groups and customer sharing sessions to keep up to date with planned changes on the platform and advise what new features and practices the firm should adopt.
What we need from you?
Experience developing Workday.
Specific experience in Core HCM, Recruiting and some wider knowledge ideally in other modules.
Experience with additional HR technologies and systems is preferable.
Experience with integrations, reporting, calculated fields, and security is preferable.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and the ways global companies manage and share data to operate global HR processes/programs to meet business needs.
