We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of CDD Manager
The role holder will be working within the CIIOM FCR team to support CDD review completion, approvals, oversight, Governance and/or Regulatory Returns as the work evolves or based on their previous experience. The role holder should be able to plan and meet deadlines and work with wider stakeholders to produce good quality output.
In this role, you will
- Reviewing and Approving EDD and Sanctions customer cases within the CDD Review Tool, as per the procedures, escalating any concerns.
- Assisting the WPB CDD lead to maintain the appropriate oversight and ensure the quality and throughput of CDD/EDD reviews.
- Supporting FCR projects/change initiatives to improve the risk monitoring effectiveness and work with second line to ensure effective controls and oversight
- Developing as a Subject Matter Experts in role (CDD / FCR).
- Provide appropriate support, to the business and front line teams, seeking to continuously improve employee’s knowledge and understanding.
- Assisting in the collation of MI for governance, such as the KPI Dashboard and Continuous Monitoring within Helios
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience and knowledge of branch or frontline processes and either CDD or other areas of FCR is desirable.
- Good understanding of risk function, if possible in liaison with financial crime risks desirable
- Proven record of effective time management, including planning and decision making, identifying priorities and bringing a wide range of tasks to successful completion
- A desire to find ways to continually improve a service
- Good independence in their organisation and proactivity in the execution of their responsibilities
- Strong written communication skills
