Job description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the POS system and process payments through the cash register
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or issues
- Clear and clean tables, as well as reset them for the next guests
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks in the kitchen, such as assembling salads or appetizers
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and workstations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
