We have a fantastic opportunity to join our long-established Electrical Wholesale and Decorative Lighting company as a Digital Marketing Assistant with a primary focus on implementing effective email marketing campaigns and creating engaging social media content. In this role, you will play a crucial part in elevating our brand's online presence through email marketing and social media, as well as the day-to-day SEO of online content through blogs and product information. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute email marketing and social media strategies for our electrical wholesale and decorative lighting brands.
• Craft compelling and captivating content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective email marketing campaigns.
• Create SEO optimised content for our ecommerce websites, including product pages and blog posts
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance our online presence.
• Track and analyse social media and email marketing performance metrics, providing actionable insights through regular reports.
• Contribute fresh ideas to brainstorming sessions, actively participating in shaping our overall marketing and branding initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a digital marketing role. Email marketing and social media experience is advantageous, though not essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong creativity and ability to generate engaging content.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and email marketing platforms.
• Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices.
• Photoshop, Canva, or other photo editing software is advantageous, though not essential.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £22,500.00 per year
