Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers in a friendly and happy manner
• Taking food and drink orders at the counter
• Entering each item ordered into the register system
• Presenting the variety of menu options
• Advising on the best food and drink choices for each customer and answer questions
• Assisting customers in finding a table and seats
• Communication customer orders to kitchen staff
• Checking the quality of the final servings and resolve any issues
• Delivering orders to the table deftly and accurately
• Verifying that customers are happy with their orders and checking if they need additional items
• Attending to the tables and guarantee compliance to cleanliness standards – removing empty plates, soiled napkins, cleaning tables etc.
• Working with other staff as a team
• Working diligently to achieve outstanding service quality
• Attending scheduled team or shift meetings
• Any other reasonable duties as and when needed

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

• Proven work experience as a server, wait staff member
• Working knowledge of cash register and any ordering information system
• Food safety training will be a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £7.00-£13.00 per hour
