Job description
At InterContinental Edinburgh The George Hotel, we are looking for Breakfast Staff, Waiting Staff and Senior Waiting Staff for the highly anticipated opening of Scotland’s first ever exclusive Le Petit Beefbar restaurant....
This highly exclusive restaurant born in Monte Carlo in 2005 is the epitome of creativity and luxury service, by taking on international and local dishes with a focus on quality ingredients. Riccardo Giraudi (the Beefboy as some might call him) has created Beefbar to break tradition and introduce a modern take on incredibly well-thought out but simple dishes divided into 3 section – sexy street food, great meat cuts and iconic dishes. InterContinental Edinburgh The George is home to the first and only Beefbar in Scotland and we are proud to be presenting Edinburgh with this leading new concept opening in Summer 2023…
We are looking for Breakfast Staff, Waiting Staff and Senior Waiting Staff who can work either Full-Time (5 shifts per week, 40 hours) or Part-Time (2-3 shifts per week, 20 hours), across a variety of shift times including weekends, early starts and late finishes. In addition to your hourly rate, service charge will be paid on a monthly basis through our Tronc scheme.
Our Front of House staff form a central role to the restaurant operations, whether it be greeting and seating our guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude for our breakfast service; educating our guests on the story and concept of Beefbar; dealing with any special requests or service recovery issues and above all – putting the guest first in all that you do!
No matter which role, being knowledgeable about our offering will be key. People who enjoy interacting with guests in depth and are passionate about our offering is what we are looking for!

- Employee healthcare plan and access to Mental Healthcare first aiders.
- Discounts across retailers such as your go-to supermarkets and activities such as the cinema in our benefits portal!
- An epic staff party held once a year – this is not one to miss!
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience working within a Restaurant as a Server, Waiter/Waitress or Host
- Confidence in delivering great service, have a can-do attitude and always willing to help out where needed
- Passion for providing positive guest experiences, you will be someone who loves to interact with our guests!
