Job description
Job Purpose:
Serve guests by providing a friendly, efficient service. Use knowledge to help guests with food and drink decisions. Maintain a welcoming environment for guests by clearing and resetting tables as quickly as possible. Working well as a team to provide a great experience for all guests. Working in small or large functions, as well as every day breakfast, lunch and dinner services.
Duties:
* Prepare room for dining by clothing tables and setting up for service (eg. decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils).
* Adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
* Help guests select their food and beverages by presenting menu; answering food preparation questions; using knowledge to answer any other questions asked.
* Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording guests choices; identifying any special dietary needs and special requests.
* Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
* Serve orders by picking up and delivering guests choices from bar and kitchen.
* Maintain table settings by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

The hours of work are variable throughout the week including weekends. The shifts may include breakfast, lunch or dinner, start and finish times vary depending on the business requirements.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-24 per week
Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
