The Grand is York’s only five-star hotel, built in 1906 and standing proudly as a hotel since 2010, we are a beacon of hospitality excellence. Along with our 207 guest bedrooms, we boast an award-winning rosette restaurant, The Rise and hold the Conde Naste 2022 award for Best Afternoon Tea. We recently opened our new fine dining restaurant, Legacy, which provides the opportunity to elevate our dining offering and become leaders in the York food scene. We have a state-of-the-art Cookery School, are home to an atmospheric Spa, stunning Meeting and Event spaces and an In-Room Dining offering. Each day is unique and memorable at The Grand and we live to create special memories for our guests and our team.

Job Description
Full-Time/40 hours per week
3pm - late
As a Food & Beverage Associate, you'll deliver a friendly and efficent service; to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests and ensure they have a great experience. You'll be attentive to our guests needs, from they moment they arrive. You will make recommendations and serve accurately and efficently. You will play a pivital role in our Afternoon and Evening services in the award winning Rise Restaurant.

As an Food & Beverage Associate, key to your role:
- Deliver an exceptional level of service through a relaxed and profesional approach - checking in with guests at each course to ensure satisfaction
- Passing on excellent product knowledge of all Food & Beverage
- Work as part of the team, help-out your fellow team members where necessary
- Encourage the highest standards across all areas (customer service, hygiene, health and safety)
- Complete opening and closing duties, re-stock as required
- Team-orientated
- Have a professional appearance at all time
