About you:

As a Waiter/Waitress you will be the face of our restaurant and working with your colleagues on providing excellent services to our guests ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual, you will be an excellent and confident communicator with exceptional people skills and problem-solving abilities. The successful candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic, welcoming and genuine. Informed by the authenticity of our brand and the passion we feel for our guests representing the warmth of the Greek islands and its hospitality.

You will be joining an equally passionate, fun and talented team dedicated to curating original guest experiences in an authentic, attentive and courteous manner. Meraki describes something done with soul, creativity and love, values that we are seeking in a new team member to take our guests on an immersive journey to the Greek islands through exceptional food, innovative drinks and unique sense of hospitality.

Responsibilities:

As a Waiter/Waitress you will be responsible for:

·Providing a warm welcome by greeting our guests, presenting menus, and explaining daily specials

·Answering questions related to menu items, dietary requirements and suggest recommendations

·Taking food and beverage orders, and providing an attentive and personalised level of service

·Supporting commis waiters to clean and set up the dining areas, refilling service areas according to the departments standards.

Requirements:

We are seeking for an individual who has worked in a similar role, candidates without any previous experience will not be considered, please apply for Commis Waiter/Waitress position instead. Other skills which will need to be demonstrated include:

·Excellent attention to detail

·Strong organisational skills

·Impeccable appearance of personal grooming

·Confident, professional and welcoming personality

·Genuine passion and enthusiasm to learn

·Proficient in English language
