About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a BI Data Analyst to join our award-winning business. The BI Data Analyst reports directly to the BI Data Analyst Manager and is responsible for delivering Anchor’s data analytics, data science capability and the ownership of reporting for the organisation.
Experience
- Agile software development and technology best practice methodologies
- Proven experience of building and maintaining reporting Solutions
- Proven experience in developing data analytics
- Proven experience of documenting data requirements
- Knowledge of Data Governance processes
- SCRUM
Knowledge
- Power BI
- DAX
- Azure Dev Ops
- Comprehensive understanding of Data Models
- Purview
- Basic awareness Synapse
- Basic awareness of Azure Data Factory
- Basic awareness of Azure Data Bricks
- Statistical Awareness
- Understanding of data mining
- Excellent design skills to be able to present insightful data to the user
Planning, organising & integrating:
- A self-starter, proactive in project work and career development, including identifying your training needs
- Work in collaboration with all project team members, including Business analysts, Data engineers and QA
Communicating & influencing skills:
- Understanding business and Customer requirements
- Great communication skills, in particular: presenting, collaborating, and working with stakeholders
- Articulate and able to challenge the status quo and stuck perceptions
