About the role
This exciting new role, part of the Volunteering Operations & Support Team, will support the delivery of providing an excellent volunteer management experience for Macmillan staff and professionals in our partner organisations.
This will be a varied role whereby you will be responsible for providing effective, high quality, support to the team. Colleagues come to the team with various queries, from seeking advice about how best to involve volunteers to finding more about how they can access our volunteer manager learning and development opportunities. Your role will co-ordinate the support for these functions, including being the first point of contact for queries submitted to our Volunteer Manager Helpdesk, co-ordinating and maintaining the structure of our Volunteer Manager Toolkit, to co-ordinating and producing our various Volunteer Manager Communications e.g. monthly newsletter, intranet, and email communications.

About you
We are looking for someone who has administration experience and who can deliver an excellent service to colleagues who come to the team for support (our customers). Your knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office applications, in particular your Intermediate Excel skills, will support you in developing effective and efficient processes to support your work.
To excel in the role you will be organised, able to prioritise, manage a busy workload, and be able to solve problems. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships that will enable you to carry out your role.
