RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
As an analyst / junior associate in the UK TxB coverage team, you will collaborate with dedicated industry coverage leads to develop creative solutions for clients, research new business opportunities, manage MIS reporting, and forge deep relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL:
- Develop a deep understanding of Transaction Banking, working capital management, and the function of corporate treasuries
- Assist in the creation of custom client presentations to explain industry trends, discuss solutions, and recommend strategies to help our clients meet their goals
- Coordinate customized pricing proposals to help quantify client opportunities
- Gather and synthesize information on prospective and existing clients to brief internal stakeholders
- Support the regional head of the coverage team with MIS reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Actively participate in client meetings and workshops
- Partner with stakeholders across the firm to help deliver "One Goldman Sachs" to clients
- Develop knowledge and expertise on industry trends and the competitive landscape
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Extremely strong analytical skills and ability to work with mass datasets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
- Self-motivated and ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to juggle changing priorities and a varied workload associated with a tech start-up
- Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity
- Passion and natural curiosity for the financial services industry and a desire to build knowledge of our business and clients
