Job description
CXK is a leading charity that empowers young people and adults to build the skills and confidence they need to move into sustainable education, employment, or training. Each year we make a difference to more than 300,000 people across the South of England.
Why we want you
As a key member of our team of volunteers, you will help support the Marketing team in providing high quality copywriting and analysis support, contributing to the wider SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) strategy.
What you will be doing
Working remotely, the successful candidate will have excellent skills in copywriting proof-reading, and editing.
As part of the role you will:
- Write clear, copy with a distinct voice, for the CXK website and other marketing channels.
- Edit and proof-read copy as needed
- Use SEO principles to maximize website copy’s reach
- Source images and other content
- Conduct keyword searches
- A knowledge of SEO is considered useful, but not essential.
Ideally you will be able to support the Marketing team for a minimum of 2 hours per week.
What skills we are looking for
- Copywriting experience and/or a keen interest in pursuing a copywriting role
- Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills
- Strong research skills
- Flexible and adaptable, with a “can do” attitude
