Job Role: Volunteer Coach
About Us: Swansea City AFC Foundation is the official charity of Swansea City Football Club. We have a mission to use Swansea City AFC as a force for positive change within our communities, creating the conditions for communities to flourish.
Job Purpose: Volunteer Coaches play a vital role in ensuring the sustainability of the Premier League projects, supporting staff members of Swansea City AFC Foundation and participants of the project. Assist in the planning and/or facilitation of football activities and introduce fun and engaging football sessions. Support PL Coach and Community Coaches to provide coaching to young people attending the sessions. Take drills and set up equipment e.g. pitches, moving goals for the sessions and interact holistically with young people during the sessions. Assist with registers/data collection e.g. questionnaires from young people and ensure equipment is collected and maintained e.g. balls/bibs/cones. Also follow the Foundation’s code of conduct.
