Job description
Erskine Stewart's Melville Schools (ESMS) are recruiting for dynamic and enthusiastic Visiting Teachers of Saxophone, Recorder, Guitar and Piano to join the Schools from August 2023. The successful candidates will have experience both as professional performers and also in instrumental teaching at all levels, from beginners to diploma.
The Visiting Music Teachers will be self-employed and will be required to undertake mandatory training at the start and throughout their engagement with ESMS. A degree of flexibility is required in this role. However, we anticipate that the postholders will undertake at least 5 hours per week and will be required to provide each pupil with 30 lessons per year.
