Solmar Villas is an independent, award winning Villa Holiday specialist arranging high-quality, tailor-made villa holidays. Solmar Villas arranges holidays for its direct client database as well as travel agents and partners such as Jet2 Holidays.
Aim of the Role
We are looking for driven and passionate people to assist our clients by matching their requirements to their dream villa holiday, answering enquiries and upselling to maximise the company revenue as well as the experience for the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out professional and effective conversations with customers to build rapport and provide excellent service to prospective clients
- Handle general enquiries via e-mail, telephone, live chat, social media, OTAs and travel agents.
- Complete booking administration including confirmation documents and taking payments
- Creating bespoke holiday itineraries that include the accommodation and any ancillary products needed such as car hire, transfers etc.
Key Skills
- Sales driven; determined; proactive - have a passion for sales and enjoy working towards personal and team goals
- A positive, can do attitude
- Excellent communications skills (Verbal and written)
- Commercial awareness - look to protect the sale price and margins.
- Effective organisational skills to manage all stages of the booking cycle.
- Ability to tailor you approach dependant on the clients persona
- Have a desire to learn about our destinations and be able to provide expert product and destination knowledge.
- Looks for and finds ‘win-win’ solutions
- Have good attention to detail
- Enjoy working as part of a team and participate in a proactive teamwork culture.
Experience
- A strong knowledge of industry systems and processes.
- Confident with technology such as MS Office suite
- Previous sales experience not essential, we are looking for determined, resilient and driven people.
- Travel industry experience not required but is advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £33,000.00 per year
