Springpod is looking for a creative and experienced Videographer with a proven portfolio of work. We’re looking for a candidate with proven experience in producing cinematic footage that would look at home in a viral Netflix documentary, and someone who is consistent and has an eye for detail.
We’re looking for a talented videographer who loves shooting beautifully cinematic footage and wants to help grow our team. We're looking for someone who, is not just incredibly creative, talented and technically minded, but also someone who has a great personality, gels really well with our team and is great to be around. This job requires spending a lot of time with colleagues, socialising, and facing clients. So we want to make sure that you're a professional, yet fun candidate who can make working with you really easy and enjoyable.
- Determine camera angles with the director
- Capture B-roll of the set, location, and talent
- Monitor the camera feeds while recording, checking that the visuals and audio are maintained to a high standard
- Setting up lighting, audio and video equipment
- Travel around the UK with the production team, accompanying them to locations and staying overnight (Travel, accommodation and expenses will be covered by Springpod. Please note that this job will require travelling throughout the year.)
- Log time-codes of good takes when shooting
- Ideate ways to elevate the creativity of our products through video
- Reporting to the Series Director, you will ideate creative ways of filming the episodes/interviews
- Use the Series Content Plan to ensure we get the necessary footage
- Produce kit purchase lists for the Production Lead, letting them know what kit we need/should buy or rent in for productions
- Edit video content on Premiere Pro
- Be responsible for all production kit, such as cataloguing and data wrangling
- Occasionally, you will work with the post-production team to edit the episodes and create cinematic trailers, another way to let your creative side out!
- Meet the other internal creative needs of the business where required
- A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating your skillset
- Full UK drivers licence (must be clean) - comfortable driving a van, and for long distances.
- You’ll be required to work away from home, travel long distances, and work out of office hours. (We pay hourly overtime for work that goes over 40hrs per week)
- Highly proficient in Premiere Pro & Adobe Creative Suite
