Job description
We are looking for an individual to develop and deliver our video content strategy. They will be expected to ideate, produce, direct and edit videos, which can include interviews, marketing, how-tos, internal videos, and social media ads to unique one-offs.
You’ll also be helping set up best practices and filming guides for our clients and partners. We place a high value on both speed and professionalism, this fast-paced environment excites you. Some months you may touch as many as a dozen or more projects. Some for a few quick edits, and others on a deeper level with the Content Production Manager and designers. You get great satisfaction in making perfect cuts, finding a rhythm, and bringing out the best in the subjects we film. Ideally, you have experience working in multi-camera editing environments, or are eager to learn. As a Junior Video Producer, you are expected to meet hard deadlines, make quick revisions, and be able to work directly with the venues. The role can be full or part time.
You will also commission and brief online video content to third parties as required and will be expected to have a ‘black book’ of potential video partners. You should have a track record of creating content that is compelling and shareable online. You will drive our overall video strategy, sharing best practices and the latest innovations and trends. You will also work with the commercial director, head of marketing and CEO to innovate video concepts that can be sold to clients as part of an overall brand solutions package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop concepts and templates for our clients to use within our product.
- Pre-production (briefing, scripting, storyboard), production and postproduction of multimedia projects.
- Able to shoot and edit video content
- Ensure work is high quality and delivered on time.
- Managing and contracting freelance videographers.
- Excellent knowledge of video equipment, used in studio and location environments.
- Post-production skills including Photoshop, After Effects, Grading, Audio etc.
- Proficiency in lighting, depth of field and other composition techniques.
- Skilled in video editing on the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition).
- Confidence in managing a shoot environment.
- Sound understanding and interest in new AI technologies.
- A working knowledge of social media and digital video platforms.
- A network of contacts and other video production companies and directors
- Used to working at pace
