Peas has the pleasure of teaming up with an incredible client, one who is known for pushing the boundaries of fashion film and communication.
Currently seeking a Video Editor with mid to senior experience, to join the fashion film team. If you have experience editing fashion and/or culture films, this could be an incredibly exciting opportunity for you.
The remit will include
- Editing films for online and broadcast usage, as well as interviews for website and socials
- Mentoring, Nurturing and training junior team members
- Handling multiple, multi-week long video editing projects simultaneously.
- Review and feedback edits from the junior members of the team.
- Making sure that all assets for an edit are in place before the edit process starts, by liaising with the Design and Editorial team.
• Formatting videos for commercial use, the site and to social network outlets. • Preparing films for multi-screen presentations and showcasing • Grading (DaVinci Resolve bonus) • Filming on set under the direction of the founder and CD. • Filming interviews and Fashion Films • Doing visual research. • Researching new technology and how it can be implemented into the practice. • Understanding of how 3d can be integrated with film projects. • Project archival and file organisation.
This is a job that suits someone with some years of experience under their belt and, who loves fashion, music and innovation. The right candidate is proficient in both Mac and Windows environments, and has good knowledge of Première-Pro, as well as ideally good knowledge across other softwares like Adobe CS (After Effects, Photoshop) DaVinci Resolve, FCP, Blender or C4D, and knowledge of cameras and how to use them.
This role is suitable for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills and who is passionate about the studios vision! Someone articulate and a good problem solves, positive by nature and who is happy contributing to the studio’s culture. You are able to take direction and work well with a team, are organized and detail oriented, and at the same time are able to work independently, and supervise, review, and help junior team members develop. This is a great role for someone who loves fashion film, you will have amazing opportunities to work on top projects and brands including the bigger projects the studio gets, working directly with the founder.
