Graduate Architectural Designer / Project Manager Ilkeston, England

We are seeking a highly motivated, independent and calm individual, with a sound understanding of 2D CAD packages to join our industry respected and expanding design team, based in our Ilkeston office.

We are a family run company with good routes for progression for the right candidate. Full training will be given by utilising both external training establishments and internal training utilising our experienced design and fabrication team.
After the initial mentored training period the successful candidate with be managing multiple design projects from initial architect’s inception to complete site installation, liaising with architects and customers at all levels, reporting direct to senior management. They will be responsible for the design of bespoke systems to suit each customer’s individual needs, preparation of CAD drawings (represents 60%+ of role), material requirements, calculations, and site instruction / installation packages. Liaises with site / architects to offer telephone support, and if necessary ‘on site’ advice.

· Technical drawing methods
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
