This is an exciting opportunity to work in an in-house creative team under European Digital Marketing team in Samsung EHQ. We are looking for an experienced Video Editor to work on briefs from the project leads from wider marketing teams and senior collaborators.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Your day-to-day will include execution of briefs from internal collaborators, responding with creative concepts and outstanding creative output, using our Brand standards and Samsung brand guidelines.
- Work with other creative functions – graphic designer, production crews, copywriters etc – to product outstanding motion graphic and video content that meets the project briefs from wider marketing teams – Brand, Digital Marketing, Dotcom, D2C.
- Edit and produce videos that supports internal C-level executives to create video content that helps internal collaborators understand the projects better.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in design as well as new software and techniques, contemporary trends in production and sustainability.
- Build strong internal working relationships and influence relevant collaborators with different cultural background for strategy alignment and design implementation, handling feedback and diplomatically defending your work and area of expertise.
- Bring new and innovative ideas to improve content quality and increase conversion and sales.
- Support localisation of video content in different European languages.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- 5+ years of proven experience in video production, video editing and motion graphics for digital channels in top tier creative agencies or in-house creative team of large international corporations.
- A strong portfolio of inspiring, industry-leading, creative work showcasing conceptual thinking and strong video production and motion graphic skills.
- Proficient in Adobe CC – Premier Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
- Excellent understanding of optimised content formats for variety of digital platforms (dotcom, social, CRM etc)
- Understanding of usage and clearance requirements for music, images and footage
- An eye for scroll-stopping content and ability to analyse why content caught your attention
- Ability to speak multiple European languages is a plus but not essential.
