As an experienced member of our Commodities Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. Job responsibilities:

• Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
• Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
• Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Expertise in Engineering and Data in Python.
• Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
• Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
• Passionate about building an innovative culture

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Expertise in Engineering and Data in Python.
• Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
• Financial Systems knowledge
