We are looking for a passionate, intellectually curious, strategic thinker ready to make an impact on J.P. Morgan’s Derivatives Clearing Sales team.
Job Summary:
J.P. Morgan’s Derivatives Clearing Sales team is responsible for selling the Cleared Derivatives platform and market leading thought leadership to some of the largest global Asset Managers, Asset Owners, Banks, Insurers, Corporates and Financial Institutions across the Americas. As a sales lead, prior experience in derivatives clearing or a related field is highly preferred. In this role, you will pitch J.P. Morgan’s unique offering and identify strategic targets. Additionally, you will provide support to the senior sales team members for their existing relationships.
Longer-term strategic pitches as well as opportunistic origination of more immediate sales opportunities. While client demands can be fast-paced and requiring a quick turnaround, the sales approach often requires a more strategic and creative approach to a client’s individual trading requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identifying and prospecting for clients and for maintaining and growing revenues from existing clients.
- Working closely with Prime Financial Services Product stakeholders to complete Risk, Capital and Commercial analysis on prospective client portfolios.
- Supporting senior members of the sales team on their key targets and mandates; acting as a member of their deal team during a live pitch
- Analyze large sets of data to identify trends with the team’s key targets and clients
- Assist in training and developing junior members of the team
- Maintains a strong client focus, derivatives clearing industry expertise, and client sector expertise

- Background in Futures & Derivatives Clearing
- Strong understanding of macroeconomics
