We are seeking an experienced VP of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for our company. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the VP of Sales will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities, developing and executing sales strategies, and managing the sales team to achieve our revenue targets.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own all inbound and outbound sales motions across Direct and Channel/Partner channels.
- Provide leadership and drive management development for our existing sales management team.
- Recruit, grow & retain best-in-class talent and sales management to scale the function
- Own P/L for the entire sales organization, laddering down to quotas and sales targets
- Identify where improvements can be made and develop success-driven plans
- Coordinate training and development programs that enable the team to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
- Serve as an executive sponsor in a customer-facing & partner-facing capacity
- Own strategy and planning for the sales department and execute as an effective operator while effectively communicating your vision and driving buy-in.
- Actively participate in strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and Product as we execute on our GTM motion ultimately focused on maximizing ARR and CLTV
- Partner with Customer Success to develop and execute on expansion revenue opportunities
- Manage SalesOps/RevOps to actively orchestrate an effective operational strategy
- Uphold and scale a culture of winning, embodying the values of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior
- Lead a data-driven testing culture while constantly evaluating opportunities for lift across your team
What you’ll bring:
- You have 10+ years of experience managing sales teams in high-growth software companies
- You have 5-7+ years of Enterpriser SaaS experience, ideally in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- You are an excellent people manager with an innate ability to build culture, identify and resolve challenges, and develop leaders to create leverage
- You are innately data-driven and approach problems from a hypothesis-testing, agile perspective
- You’ve owned a P/L before and have forecasting / revenue modeling ability. You can show how your initiatives are generating business value or driving sales growth
- You are a driver. You are hungry to own a measurable outcome and can skillfully and systematically move your organization forward.
- You are highly collaborative, solutions-oriented, and scrappy. You are driven by a genuine desire to understand and help the customer.
